The financial impact of having a child with cancer can be devastating. Luckily there are many philanthropic organizations that provide grants to families for everything from medical bills, mortgage and car payments, to utilities and gas money for getting to medical appointments.

The Andrew McDonough B+ (Be Positive) Foundation is the largest provider of financial assistance to families of kids with cancer nationwide.The B+ Foundation has helped thousands of families being treated at over 200 U.S. hospitals. Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to lessen the financial burden so families can focus on what’s most important — their child’s health.
The hardships inflicted on families because of childhood cancer are often not quantifiable. The SamFund provides support for young adult cancer survivors in the United States as they recover from the financial impact of cancer treatment. Through direct financial assistance and free online support and education, The Samfund helps young adults move forward towards their personal, professional, and academic goals.
HealthWell’s Cancer-Related Behavioral Health Fund was established to assist individuals in need of cancer-related behavioral health treatments. The Fund will provide financial assistance to individuals with a diagnosis of cancer to help with cost-shares for covered services prescribed by behavioral health providers (psychiatrists, psychologists and licensed social workers).
